Dia de los muertos | Day of the Dead

Somos cerca del dia los muertos, and I've been looking forward to sharing some of the photos I took for Cristina Guzman and her family.

As an outsider to Day of the Dead, I only knew what I could recall from school. In person, it was a privilege to document such an important tradition. I focused on capturing both the people that gave life to the moment, as well as the details that reflected the cultural story.
